Indulge me, both Rivelatans and Off-Worlders, is war ever justified? To what lengths do you see the actions of violence negligible when it comes to gaining victory? What do you consider 'victory'?
War is a topic rife with emotional wounds yet it seems those who bear such wounds are never asked for their opinions. There are those of us who sit on thrones and must direct soldiers on the battlefield like a player moves pieces on a board.
Please, tell me of your wounds and how it is we in power can help shape Rivelata so such never destroys this city.

| Hiatus~ |

Yeah, you know, I haven't done much here, have I? I await the return of dear Kaylee-mun, regardless~
And now I'm taking my own indefinite hiatus due to counsellor training for summer camp (and a crappy computer/horrible schedule)! Yay! Sadly, I'm going to be gone from home due to this, and won't be able to celebrate Ostara (the Spring Equinox) the way I wanted to until late on the 21st. Oh, well, that kinda sucks a lot. At least I'll be able to sit near the lake when the new moon strolls around. :D
So, happy Ostara/Spring Equinox/New Moon/start-of-Spring to you all in advance!

It is very quiet, with Erza not at the hall. The building is slower as well, but Lluvia is certain we can do it.
[She trails off, but her voice returns a few moments later. The good feelings mood of the month is keeping her buoyant.]
Lucy, Gray-sama! Don't be sad that Erza is away for a while! More than certainly, Erza will return to us! We are family. Even on this island, there is no way Erza would ever leave us behind. She will come back, Lluvia knows!

Small footsteps can be heard as the Earl walks through the town. The dull thud of his cane hitting the ground every other step is also audible but only if the listener is paying close attention. After a moment of walking by himself, he pauses and lets out a low breath.]

[He moves something with his foot - perhaps a rock considering how it rolls after he pushes it.]
I wonder if Rivelata is covered in relics? That might be helpful.
Sebastian? [Ciel raises his voice, unsure if his communicator is picking up on his activities.] I think that will be our goal. We will gather as many of these relics as we can, catalogue them and inspect them closely. Perhaps they will tell us the story of this place. [And by story - he means the story that is being hidden from the visitors of Rivelata. Ciel is a suspicious boy by nature.]
Madam Red, I trust that you are doing well? The same applies to you, Sutcliffe, I trust? [He doesn't sound nearly as interested when he asks about Grell, but he did ask. That was nice, right?] |

Hey guys. :(
I really do hate to do this but I am dropping. I was on hiatus during January and my laptop crashed in early February. I know I could go on hiatus again but there is no telling how long it will be until I can get another computer. I am having troubles using other computers also and feel guilty for squatting for all this time. So, I am dropping my characters.
I loved being here and as soon as I get another computer, I hope to reapp. It most likely will not be another few months until I can get a new computer and I've missed so much. I will miss you guys and sorry if my absence has frustrated anyone.
This affects Tamaki Suou (![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) totaldrama_king), Ling Yao (seekimmortality), Leonard McCoy (adoctornotamuse) and Alia Moore (deliversemotion). All of them will be disappearing except Alia, who will lose her journal.

[o hai Riv, guess who's back! Well, it'll be obvious in a second. For now, though, the journal's kicked open and a bloody handprint falls on its pages...since it's in contact with its owner, it starts recording. But the voices it picks up are those of the sailors on the ship bringing in new arrivals, no one familiar.]
Eh, just toss 'im over, lad's done for anyway.
Not much've a 'welcome', innit? Bleedin' out on the docks? Think uv th' guy that's gonna get stuck cleanin' up tha mess...
Not our problem, mate. We just get 'em to shore. Once we do, they look after their own.
This guy ain't gonna need lookin' after fer much longer...what'ya reckon makes a hole like tha'? Straight through a guy?

We're going to keep this short and sweet (Frank and birthday vgifts will be back next week). You've probably seen the updates to our main menu. Don't be alarmed. You'll find everything you need, just in slightly shifted format. Just so you know, we based these changes on input from both experienced and new users who were not familiar with LiveJournal. Our goal was to reduce barriers to usability and make LiveJournal more accessible and easy to navigate. Please note that this is a work in progress. We welcome your detailed suggestions in ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) feedback. We thank you, in advance, for helping us improve your LiveJournal experience.
We've updated the global navigation menu:
Here's a quick breakdown of what you'll find where:
- Scrapbook can now be found under Profile (thanks for your feedback, btw), along with Settings, Stats, and Edit Profile.
- You'll find all the tools you need to post and update entries under Journal, which includes posting and editing entries, managing comments and tags, and customizing your journal's style.
- Friends contains all of your friend settings, from filtering your Friends page to adding, removing, and finding new and existing friends on LiveJournal.
- Under Communities, you'll find links to manage your communities, accept community invites, and create new communities.
- Explore includes search features, RSS feeds, Question of the Day, and FRNK radio.
- Under Shop, you'll find links to upgrade or give a paid account, buy virtual gifts, purchase LiveJournal merchandise (like T-shirts), and view your payment history.
LiveJournal Mobile update:
We've enhanced LiveJournal's mobile site to improve usability and load times. We've made more of LiveJournal's features accessible via mobile, including posting comments, uploading photos, reading and commenting on friends' posts, finding and messaging friends, and more. We look forward to reviewing your feedback and recommendations for future improvements.
Other important changes:
- You can lock comments to prevent further commenting on a post, while leaving existing comments visible.
- We replaced the "Tell a friend" link with a new "Share This" widget that lets you share LiveJournal posts on other social media sites, including Facebook, Digg, Twitter, etc.
- We changed some of the icons on entries (you can hover over the icons to view descriptions).
- You'll see a Tag count on your Tag management page.
- You'll now see the 10 most recent vgifts on your profile page. To remove vgifts, left-click on the vgift and choose whether you want to remove the vgift from your profile or delete it entirely.
- We've added options to help you control receipt of vgifts, which you'll find in My Stuff under Edit Profile. You can now enable vgifts from friends or everyone and disable anonymous vgifts.
We've got your fix:
- UPDATE: Rolling several updates into one listing here -- 1) Scrapbook should be back and working again. 2) The problem with the Update Journal page in IE6 and IE7 should be fixed now. 3) The problem with the userpic add-on package pricing has been fixed and refunds issued to anyone who was overcharged while the erroneous prices were in place.
- Non-conforming images will now be automatically resized for custom mood themes.
- Line breaks no longer count as two characters against your entry's character limit.
- We fixed a bug on the Manage Tags page so you can clear all tags and add new tags.
- We corrected the UI for the update.bml page so it displays properly in IE8.

Work has eaten me whole. So I'll be calling a hiatus until the weekend when I get to reclaim my soul \o/
If y'all need me, Dick, or Bar Hades for anything at all, I'll be available on AIM under Boojums Snark the majority of the time. I'll probably end up tagging here or there, the Bat and Bird log especially, but everything else will have to wait until I can brain again ):
